2005 Ice Storm in Lenexa, Kansas

As cold as you think!

Back in 2002, a whoppping ice storm hammered Kansas City. See my tale Here. Things are not nearly as bad this time, though some pictures from our front yard (available later, I hope...) will show a bit of damage. However, after what has happened in Asia, a couple of broken trees is truly insignificant. And there is much beauty as well; I love the way these storms freeze time as well as plants. This collection of photos was taken around the "lakes" behind my office.
